What are your top 3 read-alouds for Middle Ages?

We loved Castle Diary. It's a really, really big picture book written from the point of view of a young boy living in a castle, training to be a knight. Tons of details!

:iagree: This is the one that sticks out for me. We also really enjoyed the King Arthur books (The Kitchen Knight and Merlin and the Making of the King) by Margaret Hodges.
