Katiebug_1976
Does anyone know of anything good & inexpensive to use for art for a 2nd grader? My daughter loves to cut, glue, paint etc. But I have way too much going on to come up with regular projects for her right now. I am looking for something to give me some kind of scheduled ideas/projects for her to do. Thanks for the help,
Ellie
Art With a Purpose. Lots of suppliers carry it. The publisher recommends that the teacher buy her own ArtPac and do the projects before the children do them; that might seem a little time consuming, but it isn't really. :-)

sixglides
We bought the Abeka art book, it's divided by month/date range for season appropriate things & so far, 9 year old has been able to do without much help from me.
Cranberry
We are really enjoying Artistic Pursuits. It's very pick up and go, more teaching art skills and intro to different mediums. No prep work other than making sure you have the correct supplies. I was able to find everything at an arts/crafts store.
