mamapjama
I want to paint a sign for our homeschool. I want to make it look aged. I know I saw a link, I think it was a homeschool blog, for doing just this. Does anyone have a link?

MariannNOVA
;) I want to paint a sign for our homeschool. I want to make it look aged. I know I saw a link, I think it was a homeschool blog, for doing just this. Does anyone have a link? No, but send it to sit at our dinner table for a meal or two......it will look stressed, distressed and aged in no time.;)
JoyfulMama
You can buy a crackle paint medium at AC Moore's and Michael's. I did this 2 years ago, and it was very easy. If I remember correctly, I painted the base color (that shows through the cracks), then painted on the medium, and then painted on the top color. Here's a tutorial with the process I used. holdoll
We used to hit our projects with nails, chains, hammers, sand paper, etc. then stain and seal.
