AudreyTN
This is our first year in a co-op, we start Sept 13 and go through Nov 15. My dc 5th and 4th grade are taking Apologia Zoology 3 and my ds 2nd grade is taking Apologia Astronomy. I understand that they will have things to do at home for the class... other than that, should we still "do" science? or would it be overkill? (That sounds jumbled... my late-night mind doesn't work well. :D)
hsbaby
We attend a co-op that also uses Apologia science. I guess it depends on what they send home for you to complete. Between the reading and notebooking assignments, there is no way I would add anything. So, I would just see what they send home and supplement as needed. GoVanGogh
It depends on how much your children love science. My DS has taken three science classes outside the home (not in co-op) and we have still used an additional science program. This child could study science all day long, though.
