MyLittleWonders
We watched The Proposal the other week through Play It Now and loved it. This weekend we watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was cute and worth watching, though I was glad it was Play It Now. (I read the book and they changed a few things that I didn't like, but once I got past it being different from the book, it was cute.) jujsky
What Would Jesus Buy? It's a documentary, but it's hilarious! Well, it's both hilarious & serious. It makes you think, but it's an absolute pleasure to watch. This group of political activists dress up as "Rev." Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping. They march on all these Wal-Marts and Starbucks. They view Mickey Mouse as the Anti-Christ. Their message is all about consumerism -- how people have lost focus of what matters in life. They talk a lot about supporting local businesses and researching where things are made & how they're manufactured. It was very, very good.
