E. M Daily Geo. and Mind Benders or other critical thinking scheduling

I would like to add Evan Moor Daily Geography and Mind Benders (or any other recommendations for critical thinking?) this year. I don't have a lot of time left to do these. Does it work if I do these once a week each? How do you schedule yours?

Thank you for your help. I haven't purchased the books yet. I am just planning for the coming year starting today supposedly, but I spent a few hours printing Singapore math placement tests to give dc to do as reviews and a lot of free spelling copywork pages and math cards.

We do the Daily Geography Grade 2. It's SUPER easy, I probably shoudl have gotten Grade 3.

 

If you do it all in one day, it might take 15-20 minutes. It takes my son about 3 minutes a day if we do one every day. I usually break it into 2-3 days and use it when I need to fill gaps like pulling towels out of the dryer before math, etc.

I agree, daily geography can be done all in one day taking only 10-15 minutes. Super easy but good information. My oldest has completed the series and she was pretty much independent from about grade 4 through 6th.

I pencil Mind Benders in for twice a week for my fifth grader. A couple puzzles don't take more than ten minutes to finish.
