When we started going to a pediatric allergist with ddNow15Then12, I could tell the difference in dd's attitude right away. She felt more in control of a situation that wasn't her fault. Last year when she had a chronic headache (Oct-Jan), I insisted on a pediatric neurologist right away. A good ped specialist talks to the child, not just the parent. It's sometimes difficult to find a well qualified doc with fantastic doctor/patient skills. Sounds like you hit the jackpot! I'm so glad he encouraged both you and your daughter.
