holdoll Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 There are some really lovely women on The Homeschool Lounge. It has a very uplifting, encouraging tone to the site. There are so many active groups to join and an online chat room. I'm in the Older Moms group, and Apologia, Classical, Curriculum swap, Recipe Exchange, Homeschooling Girls, etc. It's sort of like a Facebook, only strictly for home schoolers. http://www.thehomeschoollounge.com/ Some people don't care for the fact that they have to join to be able to cruise the site. But the mods are really careful about who joins and it's free. I like how protective they are for their members. It is exclusively for home schooling moms and grandmothers.
