Barb_
It sounds like you've been hijacked. Do you a good anti-virus/anti-spyware on your system? AVG Free is one of the best free ones. I'd get one asap and run it for starters. Barb
jentancalann
I figured it out, I think. I'm pretty sure some little houligan has installed gamevance, which is a free online game site. i've found out that it is catergorized as adware, which allows popups and links galore. i'm finding links all over the WTM forum page that didn't seem to be there before. ANYWAY.. If you're still reading, does anyone know where I go on my computer to uninstall programs? Control Panel, My Computer? Its going to take me a while to figure it out on my own. Thank you
TKDmom
If you're still reading, does anyone know where I go on my computer to uninstall programs? Control Panel, My Computer? Its going to take me a while to figure it out on my own. What version of Windows are you using? On Windows XP, click on Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs. Get an Antivirus program like AVG. It'll find other things that the adware might have installed on your computer.

Barb_
Download and run AVG and that'll get rid of most of your problems. If it's an actual program, you'll have to find it and uninstall but it's most likely a trojan of some kind. Barb
jentancalann
I found it and uninstalled it, thanks. Everything looks back to normal now.

We're current on our antivirus subscription so I may use this in the future. Thanks!
