Hunter's Moon
I saw lots of mention about this and have researched it but thought I would come here for some more help. I am allergic to peanuts, soy, tomatoes, peas, and pears. Does anyone have any good sites with recipes that don't have much of that in their recipes? I am also a bit unclear of exactly what to avoid. Some sites say rice is bad while others say it is okay. Any tips, recipes, or good sites would be much appreciated.
OrganicAnn
I don't have any recipe sites, but I'm sure there are lots. Have you thought about consulting a nutritionist? My DH had to have a very restricted diet for a while and his doctor refer him to a nutritionist.
Caraway
Rice would depend on your reasons of avoidance. For example, someone merely trying to avoid gluten would be fine eating rice. But if you are trying to do "no grains", "low carb", "low sugar", etc, skip the rice. Have you checked out Mark's Daily Apple? His site/blog also has a very active forum. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/
