fish oil vitamin question

Recommended Posts

You can throw it out. The outer covering is just gelatin and a plasticizer like glycerin and water (sometimes the shell may also contain certain additives for flavor, color or preservatives). As long as he gets all the "fill", you're fine...

ETA: If you're interested in Omega-3 fish oil that's easy for kids to take (and super-yummy!) I highly recommend the Coromega brand Omega-3 squeeze packets. They come in a box of 90 squeeze packets, and you just rip off the top of the packet and let your child squeeze out the good stuff straight into their mouth. It comes in two flavors - my kids LOVE the chocolate-orange flavor. They actually think it's a treat and beg to take it every day...

thanks for answering my question. It funny that you mention the Coromega...we have just the orange flavor ones, and my one son gags it down...but will swallow the liquid of the others...and in my opinion that is way worse. But I didn't know they came in chocolate/orange...I will try those. THANKS!!!
