I was gushing about the latest cutest thing my kids had done and stopped and said, "OHMYgoodness! I sound like a typical gushing mommy!" (not that YOU did, of course!) I'm so not a gushy, emotional person, it's good for me to gush once in a while. So my kids know I think they're awesome, even if I'm not really gushy & emotional.
