SailorMom
Just thought I'd mention this. There are a lot of questions as to whether LoF can be considered "enough" as a whole curriculum. My DS used the Fractions, Decimals & Percents books as his pre-algebra (with a few worksheets thrown in if he needed more practice). He is going back to PS this year, and made it in to Algebra 1 with no problems. This is an algebra class that counts for High School credit. I really do think LoF can live up to it's claims as an all-in-one math course.
SamanthaBea
That's great to hear! My plan is to gradualy move ds from mostly MM with LOF supplement to the other way around. He just needs to cement a few things in his brain first. He's a language-loving kid and LOF is right up his ally. Although I like MM, ds complains that it "reminds him of public school." :glare:
dmrranch
That is good news! I recently read a post about someone using it through high school and their student doing well. I'm currently using MUS with Lof with dd 14, but also hope to switch around and lead with LOF instead.
