5LittleMonkeys Posted August 18, 2010 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Does anyone here use this site? http://www.readwritethink.org/ I just came across it yesterday so haven't been able to get too deep into it, but the 'classroom resources' section seems to have lots of composition lesson plans that you can search through by grade, skill, type of lesson, etc. They also have online tools for helping students to organize their thoughts. We have been following A Plan for Writing which my girls are doing well with but my oldest has been asking for some variation in writing assignments (she's bored with doing summaries from history and science), and this site seems to fit the bill .
