Pata
I would like to do a bit of a unit study on the revolutionary war with dd while we are home in the States. I had been planning on getting the Time Traveler's CD until I read the printing thread. We won't have access to our own printer, and it seems like it will cost alot to have it printed, so that option is out. I've already got readers/read-alouds planned, but I would like something for history readings (we'll do the SOTW chapters before we leave). I'd also like some simple craft ideas and lapbooking ideas. We'll be back for 2 1/2 months, but I think we'll only have time for about 5 weeks worth of work. Ok, so knowing all that, any suggestions?? Mama2two
We're following with some tweaking Elizabeth Foss American History trail. I think her resources for the Revolution look great. I don't know if you meant you had all your history read alouds, but she has fantastic book choices. http://ebeth.typepad.com/serendipity/us-history-geography.html
Pata
Thanks for the idea and a bump to see if anyone else has another idea :)
SailorMom
History Pockets has a pretty good Revolutionary War book - my sons enjoyed it.
Jen in PA
History Pockets has a pretty good Revolutionary War book - my sons enjoyed it. We will be using the History Pockets book later this year, and DD is already excited about the projects.
