BMW
I homeschooled for 15 years and currently a couple of my youngest are in ps. This morning I asked if my son had anything exciting going on at school today and he said, "Oh, we are voting for student body president." So, I asked a bit of information about that and he was a little confused. I explained a bit of how it worked, since he didn't seem to know. And all of a sudden he exclaims, "OH! I thought when we voted for student body president we voted for a person who had worked out a lot and had a really good, strong body!" LOL! Carrie12345
In my schools, it was always "class president". When a Growing Pains episode aired about running for "student body president", I thought it was going to be one of the more... risque episodes. :blushing: I have no idea how old I was, but I sure felt stupid when I figured it out, lol! BMW
Yep, Carrie, that made it funny for us, too. I had to explain more than once how the word "body" is used to mean a "group".
