Is the CD for HWOT a good resource to have?

Or will it not hurt anything if I just don't buy it? My dd really likes fun music, but if it's not worth it, I will skip it.

THe CD is not necessary to learn good handwriting skills, but we have LOVED the Get Set for School CD. The songs are easy to listen to, the music is high quality, and the tunes are catchy. I prefer the "Get Set for School" for pre-K rather than the K Cd "Rock, Rap, Tap and Learn," just because I like the lower volume and lower energy level of the preschool CD. HOWEVER, they are both very good music, in my opinion. I was just thinking yesterday how much we have enjoyed the music.

I think we only listened to it once. Other families might get more use out of it.

My DD loved the K one, not so much the pre-K one-maybe because the Pre-K one was very similar to many we already had.

We didn't get it, only because I was trying to keep costs low. Once you have the Teacher Manual you can log on and get the lyrics to all the songs, so that's what I did. Who knows if we're singing the songs the "right" way, but we still have plenty of fun!
