Anyone supplement a traditional math program with....

I don't use the workbooks, but I do supplement Singapore Math with the Kumon program. I think it's really great for math facts drill. I'm a huge fan. However, if their word problems are the same for the program as in the workbook you saw, they are pretty simple. More for reading practice than anything else I think. I think you'd be better off with the Singapore Math Challenging Word Problems.

Hope that helps.

We use the Kumon Word Problems book one grade up from the level in Singapore. It should be noted that my DD is a quick learner and doesn't need a lot of repetition of basic equation solving. Where she needs practice is on solving word problems. So I have her do the Singapore textbook, the Singapore Intensive Practice book, and the word problems in Singapore CWP and Kumon WP. We skip the Singapore workbook.
