Aubrey
I've got some ideas for one, & I'm not seeing anything like it for sale (much prefer for someone else to work out the kinks!). Besides that, I don't understand paying $13-$20 for a download of...anything, really. But certainly not a lapbook that really isn't what I want to begin w/. :bigear:
Pata
I've bought one lapbook in my entire life. The rest we've made from scratch. I've gotten great ideas from here. Also, I think there was a thread on this awhile back, so you may want to try doing a search here for more ideas. Hope that helps!
Narrow Gate Academy
I've never bought a lapbook yet. We always do our own. Mostly I have just planned a few booklets at a time. Then we fit it together as best we can at the end. It works for us. HTH
Earth Angel_79
We only did 2 last year because I don't like everything to be preprinted out for us. I prefer to have my DS do his own handwriting on the mini-books so that he remembers the information. I just use the free lapbook templates from Lapbook Lessons and Homeschool Share. Hedgehogs4
i would not pay for a lapbook. they are so easy--I bought the lap booking book from tobin's lab and that helped with ideas and how-to, but the lap books themselves we make. angela in ohio
I always made my own. I refuse to pay the prices charged for them. I have the two Dinah Zike books, and I used those. We made a lot when my girls were younger, and I need to pull them back out for the little guy. :001_smile:
Mom in High Heels
I have never paid for a lapbook. There is so much cool stuff you can print off for free. You can find almost any template you could ever want here. If you google 'free lapbooks' you can find loads of free stuff. Don't pay for it! That link is where I get any ideas I need for lapbooks also. They are just too easy to customize to your own needs to pay for them! ;)
ABQmom
Very easy to do. I do it all the time with my kids' class at church. Once you've made one, you begin to understand how they work and can make your own. My daughter even made herself one this last school year. You can see it and where we got our ideas here. AudreyTN
The first and only lapbook that we've ever made, I designed myself. http://iamaud.blogspot.com/2007/10/our-first-lapbook.html
