MariannNOVA
to make my birthday cake! She saw Duff's cake tattoos in Michael's today.........and her eyes lit up. I love doing this kind of stuff, so I asked her if she would like for us to make my birthday cake (my b-day is Thursday). We have enough time so if we bake tonight, the cakes can be frozen, and we can do this in an organized, well-thought-out fashion........:willy_nilly: The picture above is the tattoo pack she has selected. It's only proper that I mention that she asked me if I had EVER baked a cake :glare:. Apparently, for the past 11 years, all I do is walk into Wegman's and walk out with a cake.:glare: I am SO too old for this!:svengo:
Merry
your precious dd. As we both know, time goes by so fast and the girls are teenagers in the blink of an eye. Enjoy!
Aubrey
:smilielol5:Today is baby's 2yo b'day. 3yo said, "We need a cake." I told her to make it. Her face looked like this: :001_huh: & she said, "You crazy, Mama," & walked off. No discussion, even. :001_huh:

They have a cute Wilton pan to make a tractor - could be very BOB-looking. There was also a soccer ball cake pan.......could be very 'moon' looking. If it's THIS hot in Virginia, I cannot imagine what it is like in Texas. I am not even going to pre-heat the oven till long after the sun goes down. The AGA range will heat up the entire neighborhood. Why don't my children tell me I'm crazy and walk off without a discussion?:001_huh:

Keep 'em talking, even if they're using synonyms for "crazy." At least you know where they are!

Yes, my dh is very much into 'on the date of' with no regard for weather.:glare: And that's why I love littles in infant seats: one always knows where they are.:D

Mind you, when we were living in the hotel with the postage stamp sized kitchen, I was baking Christmas cookies, and I didn't have any one volunteer to help. Guess it's different when it's 100+ degrees outside and everyone is bored.
