lyonsden5
I just purchased TrailGuide to World Geo off Amazon, as well as the Answer Atlas and the Usborne Encyclopedia of Geography. If I order the CD of maps and lesson questions from Geo Matters, am I all set? Do I need anything else? this is for 4th and 7th grade. Thanks! JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
I'm not sure of the cost difference but I'd consider skipping the MapCDRom from GeoMatters and pick up their notebooking pages for this program instead. You will get all the maps needed plus lots of notebooking/exercise pages for the questions and other activities. You can buy by levels or a combo of all levels. You may want to check out the questions for the week ahead of time-some of the extra activities may require a library visit or internet work. lyonsden5
oh, okay, I guess I'm confused. I thought the $35 CD rom was the maps, plus notebooking pages, etc. I'll go back to the website and look again. Thanks!
BatmansWife
We have the one called, "Trail Guide to World Geography Student Notebook CD-Rom", I highly recommend it. We got the 3 levels in one. FYI: have you checked a "popular auction site"? They have one on there right now. :001_smile:
savoybrwn
I often just use worldatlas.com for the maps I've needed. It's free and online at your fingertips. I do have a map CD that I haven't even used the last 3 years. :)

I thought the $35 CD rom was the maps, plus notebooking pages, etc. I'll go back to the website and look again. Thanks! No-you're right. The CD ROM is the maps and notebooking pages. Once upon a time...there was no notebook CDROM there was only a book and a cd of maps. They still sell the map CD and the map/notebook cd. I meant to say skip the map only cd and go with the full package.
lyonsden5
Thanks for the suggestions! I just purchased the CD from Rainbow Resources (after getting outbid on a "popular auction site" - thanks for the tip, though:)
