Nestof3
We have been reading Ludwig Beethoven and the Chiming Tower Bells. I love playing the listening CD and being able to look at the sheet music printed in the book. http://www.exodusbooks.com/category.aspx?id=7259 You can also buy them at Rainbow Resource and CBD. ABQmom
I have heard of these many times, but always wondered if they were really that good. Thanks for posting and giving the link. I just may have to order one! Now, can anyone recommend some? Which ones were your family's favorites? ariasmommy
Thanks for posting! I'd seen the Chopin and Mozart books in other places, but I didn't know about the others. Edward MacDowell - wow!
*~Tina~*
Thank you for sharing this! I had been looking at this new "set" from Vision Forum and wondering whether or not I wanted to get it  It seemed like a good deal and I've always heard good things about the Wheeler books. http://www.visionforum.com/search/productdetail.aspx?search=classical+music&productid=43770 And today and tomorrow they are offering free shipping! :D Blessings, ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ .·´ -:¦:-Tina ~ -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* http://seasonsoflearning.blogspot.com/
Maverick_Mom
We loved these books, too. One funny note (no pun intended ;)) -- Wheeler uses the words "merry" and "comrade" frequently in her stories, and so these books came to be known around our house as the "Merry Comrade" books.
Nestof3
Yes, she is quite upbeat in her story telling. It's a little dated, but I like it. :D I recall her using the same word twice in one sentence. We loved these books, too.
