My homeschooling days are over

My younger ds has decided to go to public school for grade 8. We meet with the school principal tomorrow.

 

This was not my choice but but my ds's. We gave him the choice and he decided to go to school (a year earlier than planned). I'm sad AND happy as well as relieved all at the same time. I've homeschooled my two dc, combined, for the last 11+ yrs.

Mine too. My ds is going to private school for 8th grade. He starts next week. Like you, I am sad, happy, and relieved. I'll still have his sister's at home though, but can now better focus on their individual needs. Enjoy this new phase of your life!
