golfcartmama
What do you love/hate about the program? We're using R&S 2 English, which is OK, but neither of us is loving it. Considering getting a copy of Easy Grammar and thumbing through...would it be worth the switch? Also, would level 2 be right for 2nd grade? You do understand that EG is *only* grammar and does not cover everything that R&S's English series does. If you were to change, you would want to use other things to make a complete English course. EG was our favorite, although I would not have done it with a child so young. I don't believe a formal study of grammar is necessary until a child is, oh, 9ish. A child doesn't have to study grammar to learn to write. I can't think of anything I didn't like about EG. I don't use Daily Grams and don't believe it's necessary to do them simulataneously. golfcartmama
Thanks, I do realize it's only grammar. I already have phonics, reading, spelling and writing covered. How long does each lesson take? Have you found that your dc have retained what they've learned?
