mamapjama
Last year, grade 2, I had ds complete every other lesson in WWE1 in cursive. As the book is obviously not written in cursive, he didn't have the sentences written for him for comparison. I like the idea of using WWE, but I really want him to have more cursive practice. I'm not sure about an additional cursive writing time. It just seems to much to me. What do the rest of you do? Just use WWE or a cursive program? Use two separate programs? My DD is using WWE and a separate curriculum for penmanship (A Reason for Handwriting). She also has the option of writing in cursive on the copywork pages of her Science notebook. Satori
I am just in the process of making StartWrite HWT Cursive worksheets for WWE 1. I'll give my daughter the choice of using these cursive worksheets or print from the workbook (we have the workbook sheets printed out already). Daisy
I'm doing WWE2 with my 3rd grader (He's 8yo) and he'll also be doing a page a day in Cheerful Cursive. He HATES writing but I think he can handle that.
