Halcyon
My 5 yo ds loves reading and writing, and I think it's time to start him on spelling. Can someone recommend a spelling curriculum that is inexpensive and age-appropriate? I need a workbook that that has not-too-many exercises on a page (he is just 5, after all) but presents somewhat more challenging words. He can spell works such as please, forever, story, secret....his brother uses Megawords 1 but that is far above him. Thank you for ideas. I am not familiar with anything other than MW, so I appreciate suggestions.
mnemom
I have been using a Spectrum spelling workbook (grade 2) for my daughter, who is also five. I got it at Barnes & Noble. It has kept my daugher's interest and I feel like it is helping her to memorize patterns in spelling.
