Wyndie
Do I NEED the teachers guidebook? I am leafing through the book and it says refer to TG. I see lots of blank pages in the back that would probably benefit if I knew what they were for, but I can make something up for them. Can I survive this book without the guide? Thanks! I used that curriculum in two different schools and never had a teacher's guide. It really is not necessary unless you need extra guidance in the formation of the letters. The pages in the back of the workbook are for copying each week's Bible verse in the student's best writing.
MaMa2005
I've been using it since March and didn't even know there was a teacher's guide :tongue_smilie:.
daybreaking
I bought the teacher's guide and was not impressed at all. I felt there was very little detailed guidance on how to form the cursive letters, unlike other teacher's guides (i.e., Zaner-Bloser and Rod & Staff). The one thing I did like was the animal stories (for the K book) that corresponded to each letter of the alphabet. I just browsed through my guide and don't see anything about the blank pages in the back, so perhaps they're just extra practice pages. babysparkler
I've never used one. Are you talking about the handwriting pages in the back? They are for the last day of the week when the child copies the bible verse. My kids like to copy, color and give it to someone as an inspiration :)
Wyndie
Good idea. I'm sure grandparents would like to see her handwriting. :)
