1GirlTwinBoys
Can I change the colors of the lines? I was wanting to make the top line blue, middle line red, and bottom line green if possible.
Satori
I don't have it in front of me, but I know I've been able to change the color, although not to green. Looking at their website, here's what they say: Choose From Four Guide Line Options: Top, Middle, Bottom and Descender. Change any line to solid or dashed and colors to red, black or blue. ChrissySC
Just because I happen to be putting a poem in Startwrite ... Tools - Default Fonts - Click the button marked Guidelines. You can change them from red, blue, and black. You can change the lines to solid, dashed, or off.
1GirlTwinBoys
I just realized that the Mac version is different than the Windows. That is why I'm having trouble.:glare: Thanks anyway for the reply.:)
plain jane
I just realized that the Mac version is different than the Windows. That is why I'm having trouble.:glare: Thanks anyway for the reply.:) My StartWrite doesn't work well on my Mac. :glare: It's glitchy, lacks features I used to have, and doesn't print properly. I've not been very impressed.:glare:
Irishmommy
I wondered the same thing. I'm off to play with it. :)
1GirlTwinBoys
They're coming out with a new version for Windows within the next month. The updated version for Mac will not be available until the end of the year. It's supposed to have a lot more features.
Irishmommy
Okay, I got my guidelines changed, but BOY do I wish you could do different strokes on each word instead of it changing all the words. Does that make sense? Can you do that and I am missing it?

Does that make sense? Can you do that and I am missing it? I don't have StartWrite 5.0 but I think you can do that by creating two textboxes side-by-side on the same line, each in a different style. You will have to leave a tiny bit of space between then, though.
