wildlifemom
Well, I used one, mostly for ease of checking, so I didn't have to think about it. At the time, I was homeschooling 2 children, with a young preschooler. You could do it on your own, it just will take you longer to check it. Have you tried finding a used copy? Most of the time I can justify the cost of a used TE on the amount of time it will save me over the course of a school year. Esp, if you will use it with more than one child. Good luck deciding what to do and have a great school year.
Cinder
I didn't get the TM and regretted it. I wasn't good enough with grammar to be able to figure out some of the answers. But instead of picking up the TM I ended up switching to R&S. Ds, who really likes workbooks, found he liked R&S better. He says they explain things better. I think if you're comfortable with grammar and have the time to figure out answers you'd be fine without the TM. Cinder
mnllj7
If you are good in english you don't need the teachers manual. however, I am not good in english so I always get it. Just to make sure I am giving my dd the correct answers. I have been known to be wrong. It also makes it alot easier to check the answers. However, being tight on money. try buying a used teachers manual, That way you save money. Someone is always selling one on one of the forsale boards. God bless, nancyt.
