knittingmomof3
I just got my copy in the mail today and am only on page 34. I really want to change my approach to parenting and am hoping this book will help. Anyway, my DS6 is required to rest on my bed while his younger siblings nap. He used this time today to get into my scissors and practice on my bedding. I'm very upset but I have kept my calm. What is your recommendation for a logical consequence for this? Jean in Newcastle
Give him a needle and thread and have him practice his sewing?
Dobela
Even though he is 6, he can do 'work' for you as payment for the bedding. My son at that age would have lots of extra chores for that. Another choice is for you to get his bedding (even though too small most likely) and him to not have any or to have your cut up one only. Or, he can learn to sew up every place that is cut so that it can at least be donated somehwere.
