sheryl
We love the fall time and the country/mountain way of life. If we could we'd live in the mountains/country....can't right now. Fall time we go to a fall festival or two. One that includes "usually" folk artists/art to buy, folk dance/songs, games (not amusement park) like bobbing for apples, or making candied apples. And, the list could go on. Maybe an opportunity, such as one I was in, where I joined women who were at a quilt station. Visitors could take a seat and weave a stitch or two...what fun. At another one we attend, the kids play "old fashioned games", watch Irish Dancing, watch demonstrations on "real" antique equipment/machinery, apples in an apple press to make apple cider...yum and so on. I'd just like some other places for us to visit. Would need a fairly exact festival name to research online, dates, location, any info you have. We live in NC, so need recommendations within a day's drive, probably: Tennessee South Carolina Virginia Let me know your suggestions. Thanks.
