ElizabethB
My kids are still young enough to think it's fun when I do something weird like that!! If fact, I had my daughter singing along with me, she thought it was slightly weird but fun.

If fact, I had my daughter singing along with me, she thought it was slightly weird but fun. She used to be like that! Now she is at that age, where EVERYTHING I do is weird LOL. (And it is so fun :D) Enjoy your dd while she is not 12 LOL. My 9 year old would like it, but she is in bed LOL My 12 year old hugged me before she went to bed and said "Mom, I love all the weird, quirky things you do, just don't do that to me in public, please " :001_wub: Thats my girl!! At least she still wants to be seen with you in public! At that age, my brother started requesting that my mom drop him off a block away from wherever she was taking him!!! He did eventually grow out of it.
Jeannie in NJ
yes, I am always singing the name song, my teen dc love it. Also my dd started learning to spell with the B-I-N-G-O song, we would just substitute other names (even the cats names and everyone in extended family) for the Bingo part. For ex. "Got a nephew and David is his name, oh. D=A-V-I-D, D-A-V-I-D , D-A-V-I-D and David is his name oh. " Really got her started in spelling and she has always been a great speller lol. elise1mds
My db's name is Chuck. We weren't allowed to sing the name game in our house. :D That's my dad's name, too. He always made us use Charlie or Charles if we sang that. My husband had never heard the song when I married him, so I called the local oldies radio station to request it. The DJ about died with laughter and amazement and wanted to know if his name was also Chuck.
