Dobela
I would first try peanut butter. It takes out sticky gum and candy.
Lara in Colo
Naptha takes out almost all sticky or waxy stuff. I used just last week to take pine sap off of my childs leg, and gum from her clothes. Naptha is the ingredient in Ronsonol loghter fluid (in the cigarette area) You can also find it in the laundry area (Thoro) for 2-3 times more. I always have some on hand for gum, candlewax, crayon, ) Lara

MomsintheGarden
We've never used it on hair, but non-acetone nail polish remover works great to get sap off of a car. Hope you feel better soon! Gardenmom
In The Great White North
Cooking oil works too. Then you have to wash off the cooking oil.

hillfarm
You might also try straight rubbing alcohol. I use that to get Christmas tree sap off my hands and it works great. Stands to reason that since it is in most hand sanitizers, they would work also.
