kahlanne
I have decided to try ABCD with my daughter this year but browsing over it, it seems like there just isn't enough practice work. I have heard great things about ETC and my daughter likes workbooks. Could these be used together? If so, which ones would I start with? She is using ABCD Level B. kahlanne
Anyone?
Aurelia
I think you could. We did both for a little while (got partway through ABCD B-2 and did parts of ETC 1&3 before dropping). It would probably work if your child likes workbooks and retains info from them. My child doesn't and didn't retain much (and doesn't usually from workbooks) so it didn't work for us. kahlanne
Thank you Aurelia. My daughter really loves interesting workbooks. Finding her kind of interesting can be difficult though. As far as retaining the information, workbooks help. I think she is a mix. She needs both. Anyone else?
kahlanne
Does anyone know what level I would start my daughter in with ETC? We are doing level B in Abecedarian after doing the placement test. I don't want to have to wait to get the placement test for ETC and then order the actual workbooks. KWIM?
