lynn
We are doing "school" very infomally in that we have one of those big workbooks of everything for preschool. DD works through what she wants in a day with some guidance. Am I making permanent bad habits by not correcting the usage of lower and upper case letters, writing on the lines etc. She is 4.5 but misses K cut off. Should I be constantly correcting her now or wait until we get into more formal learning?
Alenee
I haven't ever had a problem transitioning my kids from mixed letters to upper or lower case. I wouldn't worry about it. It's totally normal for her to do this.
Whereneverever
Normal at this age. I think it's more important to have fun then stress at this age.

Let her have fun, read lots of books with her, have more fun, and enjoy. This age goes by way too quickly.
