VFCR-Do I need the TM or just the answer key?

I'm looking at vfcr a. Do you find the TM worth the $$$ or should I just get the answer key?

From Rainbow Resource I bought the test booklet (which includes answers) and the Answer Key for the book. Both were a few dollars a piece. I'm going to use VFCR as per WTM so I did not get the TM.

Spend the first day of the week writing the words,roots, prefixes, suffixes etc. on index cards. T-Th - studying the index cards, Fri - do the review exercises. (I think I got that right). It doesn't mention incorporating the extra tests.

Umm - yeah - that's the main book right? Now I might be confused!!

 

I got Books A and B, the answer keys for both, and the test booklets for both. The review exercises I mentioned previously are the ones in the books.

I'm sorry! I've looked at one too many programs and books this week! I guess what threw me was when you said you used it the way TWTM laid it out and you had gotten the test booklet and answer key for just a few dollars apiece. I thought there was some new trend in the new editions of TWTM I didn't know about!:lol:

 

So, let me get this straight. Your student does do the workbook and in addition they:

That's how we use the workbook: Copy out the words from the book, study them, at end of the week do the exercises in the book. When I looked at the description for the TM it said it included lesson plans or ideas on using the material (something to that effect). I figured I wouldn't need that information since I was going to use it as described in TWTM. So I only got the answer key (best price at RR).
