Homeschooling6
If using Bob Jones Math 4 with three students, do you purchase more than one Student Materials Packet?

H_Household
You could do that. Or the TE CD will have things you can print for manipulatives. You could print the things you want to use and then laminate them. That is what I do instead of buying the whole manipulatives kit. Don't know if that would work for you or not. Not sure if that would save you money or not. But I would say that it probably would be best for them to each have their own set.

I think it may come out to the same either way. Thank you!:001_smile:
Omma
Will they all be doing math at the same time? Do you have dc that LOVE manipulatives and HAVE to be holding them lovingly? Are your dc good at sharing? :001_smile: In our situation, I have one dc who could care less about manipulatives and rarely used them this past year (although I did tell him that money is actually a math manipulative, so he was a bit more interested ). My dd, OTOH, ADORES manipulatives, so you'll have to weigh that out. We just kept them all in one box and my dc pull them out when they want them. One thing I noticed is that BJU manipulatives have a high percentage of repeat materials from year to year (at least in going from 3rd to 4th to 5th grade). Also, you can find BJU manipulatives for cheap on ebay. Blessings,

I'm wondering, maybe I'll just put them in a bin (instead of filing ) and we can pull out what we need when needed. I'll just make sure I label with detail, so we don't waste time. Thanks! Omma
We put items in labeled ziplock bags and then placed them all in a bin. It's worked out well for us. Hope you have a great year! Brenda
