Mert
Has anyone ever combined these 2? We want to use SOTW as a spine, but I want to add a pretty hefty amer hist component as it occurs in the frame-work of the chronological world history. I also really like the BF early amer hist. I'm just wondering if anyone has already figured out a way to do a combo. TIA :D Edited August 3, 2010 by Mert
HollyDay
This coming year, I'm combining SOTW 4 with Joy Hakim's History and readers from the Veritas Press reading list. Does that count??? I don't see why you couldn't add the readers from BF (with or without the guide) to supplement SOTW.
Mert
I'm reading your subject line as.... Story of the world and breast feeding. I suppose lots of people can do both at the same time, as in reading the book while breast feeding. But it would be interesting to see someone try to do one of the stow wctivites while breast-feeding.... Just be careful when breast-feeding and doing the mummy chicken activity. That's great, Julie.

I'm so far away from actually implementing these ideas that I'll probably change them a few more times before we get there. ;) Good to know what's working for others. I guess what I'm really wondering is would that be too much for an elem schooler... Sotw plus those readers plus the guide plus hands on activities.
