What's the name of the blog that lists teacher's fave books?

I think it may have been a librarian's blog. Not sure, though! ;)

ETA: I remember it was like a top 100 list or something. They took a poll of teachers and the blogger added quotes from the teachers about why they liked the book so much. There was her own review with an image of the book cover.

Oh Kareni! Have I told you lately that I love you??!!! :hurray:

For some reason, that site stuck with me. I own most of those books; there's nothing new. But, I really enjoyed reading the responses.

Thank you, thank you!! Off to bookmark now!

Ok, I'm a total dunce, but I cannot find the pagesa fter the first one (#100-90). Can anyone show me how to? When I click the next installment, it takes me to the journal, and I can't find the continuation of the list.

Shoot - neither can I. But, if you use her first link, you can look at them one by one. So much wonderful info for each one. I could spend all day there. But, alas, I am off to the book store to buy more books at their "stuff a bag" sale!!! :D

The links on her blog are not all working correctly, unfortunately :(

But those are not teachers' favorite books. They are the favorite books as compiled by readers of her blog (I voted, for one). Some teachers. Some students. etc. Oh and Cheaper by the Dozen was vetoed because it was "True" -- and after the 100 were done, she posted 10 or 20 more and then a list of ALL that were voted for at all.

Well, drats. You're right. (Hmm, not about being a dunce but about the fact that those other links don't work!)

With some Googling, I found Top 100 Children’s Novels (#90-86)

#85-81

#80-76

#75-71

#70-66

#65-61

#60-56

#55-51

#50-46

#45-41

#40-36

#35-31

#30-26

#25-21

For numbers one through twenty, go to the first link I gave before and click on each number. That one seems to work.

Regards,

Kareni
