kalanamak
I'm ready to take this messy step. I'm looking for "best paste" choice, tips, how to make a pinata frame, etc. Thanks.

Hockey Mom
Sorry, I can't help you. I'll be watching this thread though. I've been scouring all over the internet for some help on building a frame for a Roman Coliseum to paper mache.
ABQmom
Have you seen this blog yet? http://www.weirdunsocializedhomeschoolers.com/ Click on her top ten posts at the top of the page and you can find a couple of paper mache projects. It probably won't answer all your questions, but it's a place to start. When I was in junior high school, my Spanish teacher had us make pinatas. We blew up a balloon and covered it with strips of newspaper dipped in a glue mixture. We then had to make some kind of animal out of it. Our group made a penguin. It turned out really cute.
