Staceyshoe
My "to read" book list is growing much faster than I can keep up! I just saw a reference to the book Repairing the Ruins. Has anyone here read it? Do you recommend it? I'm wondering if it should be worthy of being added to my list or if I should just skip it. Reviews? fhjmom
I haven't but it looks interesting. I would love to hear feedback as well!
TechWife
My son went to a classical, Christian school that was modeled on the school Douglas Wilson started in Idaho. It was not the best experience. I read this book a long time ago. Douglas Wilson's idea of classical Christian education isn't the same as mine. The book is heavily influenced both by his personal theology and by his personality. Not my cup of tea, but everyone is different. Staceyshoe
Thanks for the insight! I am still forming my educational philosophy so I think I'll stick with books that I've seen highly reviewed by people on this forum.
