mrs.m
I think most are donated to local food pantries?
LauraGB
Wow - I haven't seen one of those in years! I did, however see a few carts full of semi-frozen organic stuff marked waaayyy down because the freezers went out - that was a bonus day, for sure!
athena1277
My grocery store has a couple bins way in the back with marked down stuff that has been dented, etc. Every once in a while I find something good there.

IrresistibleGrace
My grocery store just leaves them on the shelf at full price! I had to sort through a whole case of cream of chicken the other day to find one that was NOT dented :001_smile:
Jean in Newcastle
Our grocery store has one shelf back by the swinging doors to their back inventory space. But I have seen the food pantry people collecting them too from the grocery store (with permission) to take to the food bank. Do you have a Grocery Outlet in your area? They sell dented canned foods and other items at a discount.
Lara in Colo
my safeway has one AND they allow coupons on top of the discount. Last month I got Pantene shampoo for .50 a bottle Lara
