RainbowSprinkles
...independent? My dd likes to do most of her work independently and just have me check it instead me doing the lessons with her. She asks if she has any questions. We've been doing FLL3 but it's so teacher intensive. I wonder what else is out there that is as thorough as FLL but can be done mostly on her own. Anyone have any recommendations?
~Kirsten~
Possibly Growing with Grammar would fit the bill for you both. People mention that it's possible to do it independently, though you need to check to be sure the information is truly sticking. If nothing else, maybe this will bump you a bit. Caitilin
You might like to look at Primary and Intermediate Language Lessons by Emma Serl. We enjoyed these for several years, b/c I just couldn't do the format of FLL. :)
skueppers
How about the Language Lessons books from Queen Homeschool Supplies? I haven't used these myself, but they seem like the sort of thing you might be looking for.

She would fly through the lesson really fast.
Caitilin
Hmmm...from looking at it, it seems to be something to be done together? Well, it would depend on the child, but my kids would do the lessons independently. :) YMMV.
learninearnin
My DD has been doing the Rod & Staff pretty independently. They have a good explanation at the beginning of each chapter that is thorough.
