Annie Laurie
I'm looking at the bundle (level A) with an extra text and an extra activity book since I'll have two students. Do I need all of that? Is there anything else I need? Are the Clash Cards necessary? Thanks!
amtmcm
I like the Activity Book (crosswords, word scrambles, matching games, etc..) and the History/Translation book, but they are not required. Here are Free Resources on their website for extra practice: Free online flashcard practice: http://headventureland.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=1&Itemid=38 Free Practice Worksheets: http://www.classicalacademicpress.com/images/samples/LFCa_practice_pages_July_07.pdf
hmschooln
IMO, the clash cards and the activity book aren't needed, but I do like the history book. On their website they have links to free downloadable pages for the different levels(I like these pages better than the ones on the activity book anyway) and links to flash card game and to different stories and videos in latin.:001_smile: This should take you to the games, videos and such. http://www.headventureland.com/ Edited July 28, 2010 by hmschooln
Ali in OR
We didn't really use the activity book but we do use the history reader. I now go for the basic bundle and add in the reader. I think you would only need one reader for two kids, but you would need a primer for each. It's possible that you could get by with one activity book if you want to try it out and just have the kids do different pages. I think the DVD is a must--it's in either bundle package.
