Shelly in IL
I have had a mental block and have not wanted to order our history books - big bucks and big decisions. I am happy to report this chore is done, and thank goodness for a great library system, I might add!! I also want to add how excited I am for our son to start the Great Books program at Angelicum Academy. I've talked to the director 3 times there and he is just excellent! Not what you would expect from a great books-type teacher!

dymphna57
All I can say that real books have shelf value beyond the home schooling years. I eye any textbook with a sick look as I know it will have to be recycled and by the time I finish with it edition #next will be out and no one will even want my second hand copy. And then there is the iPad!
