BethInNH
Is this one supposed to follow Pre-Algebra/Biology, or is it an alternative pre-algebra text? I couldn't find a TOC for this book., so I am unsure what is covered in it. Also, has anyone had a child simply move onto to the beginning algebra book after completing fractions and decimals books? Was it a hard transition? Do you think the pre-algebra texts are necessary? Thanks Beth:confused:

Thanks Beth:confused: When I asked Stan that he said it both pre-algebra books were meant to be used together and would comprise LoF's pre-algebra course, and that pre-algebra 2 would have more emphasis on word problems because that seems to be the most difficult transition into Beginning Algebra. There are sample pages on Z-Twist's website. Just follow the ordering link from Stan's page. ETA that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pre-Algebra 1 and wouldn't want to skip it.
