Wendi
So, I went to our homeschool convention Friday and Saturday. I loved hearing Andrew Pudewa speak; he was great! I changed my mind about Bible for this year; we are going to use Picture Smart Bible instead. I saw in on Friday, and was telling a friend about it on the phone Friday evening, and she said, "I bought that, and have never used it!" So I am going to borrow hers to use for a bit until I decide to purchase it. For high school, though, I am still overwhelmed. I have really been leaning toward TOG, but after hearing Jim Stobaugh speak, I started to doubt my choice. I looked at his materials, and IEW's literature program, and I also still like the idea of using Susan Bauer's method a la WTM. Decisions, decisions! Wendi Here's my .02 on Stobaugh - we tried this with my oldest about 4 years ago. It was not use friendly and very overwhelming for us. We dumped it. It seemed to have good reviews, but it just didn't workout for us.
Renaissance Mom
Who is Jim Stobaugh, and what curriculum does he have that compares to TOG?? https://www.forsuchatimeasthis.com/ Although this is a solid classical program, IMHO it doesn't have the cohesiveness of TOG.
