Woolspinner
What are your opinions? Would this be appropriate for a small group of 11-13 year-olds? Why or why not?
Sophia
My oldest at 13 would have gotten something out of it because he's a thinker. None of my other children would have appreciated it at those young ages. Personally, I think it is best suited for ages 15/16 up because they have encountered more types of people and are ready to talk about ideas. We went through it with several other families and our teens last year and it was great for discussion.
Photo Ninja
I think most students at 11 - 13 yo are not thinking analytically enough to really understand the material. They will still learn, but not at the depth that a high school student or adult will.

JVA
:iagree::iagree::iagree: GREAT INFO is presented in the Truth Project- we loved the videos. We took our 12 yr old son and he could talk about some of the topics with understanding but I wouldn't make it a focus of study for that age yet. I think they need to be more into the Rhetoric stage (usually a little older) to get as much out of it as possible.
mum
I went to the training and it's GREAT content. But I think it's for end of high school age-ish. IT's intended for college and above. I heard that they are developing a high school version. One of my dc is very mature, but still at 13 did not get out of it what I had hoped. Still too young it think. Woolspinner
I emailed Focus on the Family and asked them. They said it is intended for adults. But they did recommend this:http://http://family.christianbook.com/the-truth-chronicles-adventures-in-odyssey/9781589975392/pd/975392
