Dmmetler
I'm looking at the online samples, especially of the ones available in Spanish, and thinking that my DD would really enjoy them (I'd LOVE to get more regular reading in Spanish at her level in our regular study-I like elementary Spanish, but it's short on written words at her level). I'm wondering how much getting a single subscription, vs at least 10 at a time would cost, though, and whether it would really be worth it. Radish4ever
I think we ended up paying something like $22 for a subscription to the 1st grade SN and the Clifford preschool magazine. You have to call customer service and they can give you an exact price as it is different for the home educator than for the school teacher buying in bulk. My kids really enjoyed it. We actually could do most of the activities in there without writing on it, so I'm saving all of them for future years! My kids love them and really enjoy the colorful pictures and the fun activities that follow. It was also great reading practice for my DD. homeschoolmommaof4
Are you talking about the weekly reader mags? I ordered them one year and my kids were never very interested in them. I still have some in the shrink wrap I never even bothered to open.
