KJsMom
Our house has metal siding. We have metal rocking patio chairs on the deck. The chairs were temporarily pushed back near the wall and the kids rocked in them which scraped paint from the metal siding and exposed shiny silver metal. Aaaah! Is there any way to fix this? My dh is going to flip!
Jean in Newcastle
1. Does your siding have a warranty that includes repair of dings etc? 2. I would think that you could get a paint for metal at a hardware store. The hard part (depending on the shade) might be matching the color. Would the people who installed it have small bottles of touch-up paint that you could buy?
Teachin'Mine
If you have any "extra" siding, bring a piece to a paint store and ask them to match it for you. You can get a small can of paint, and get some primer made for aluminum. The combo should work well. :)
KJsMom
Thank you guys for your help. We bought the house last August, so we aren't sure who installed it but we are trying to find out. I emailed a fairly local company who probably installed it to see what can be done, now I just have to wait until they answer. If they have cans of touch up paint that would be wonderful!
